Make Your Own Web Site.
The simple One Page Web Site that you can make yourself.
Most word processors can save a document as a web page. If you can make a word processor document that looks like something you want on the air, this could be the answer. Try it out, create the document.
If you include any graphics, embed them into the document (as opposed to a
separate file). When you save the document, use the "save as web
page" option and save it to your desktop. Double click on it, and it should open a web browser to display your web page.
We can put these on the Internet for as little as $10 / month.
In its simplest form, web site can be a single page that simply states who you are, what you offer, and how to obtain your product or service. The
size of the page does not change the price until you get very large. You
may want to include:
-
Your location
-
Hours
-
Phone, FAX, email
-
Map to your location
-
A picture of your store or sign so people recognize you when they get
there
-
Your specialties
-
Pictures of your products or staff
Design comments:
It is amazing how many web sites out there generate interest in a product but do not tell the customer how to order, how to contact the company, or
a dealer... Please remember to tell your customer how to contact you, or order your product or service.
Most of the customers that can view your web site will have e-mail. It really
looks better if you include your e-mail address.
Give customers a reason to return to your web site. Have some special offers.
